Where in the World Is Heather Elvis

Most all crimes can be broken down by opportunity and motive
Who has the opportunity or who has the motive?
Heather Elvis disappeared on December 17, 2013. Little is known about her disappearance. On that date she had been on a first date that lasted 7.5 hours long. Here we have opportunity, Steve Shiraldi is the young man who she went out with. He has been cleared, I am not sure how but LE is not looking at him.

The timeline is debatable because he first says he dropped her off at her apartment between 2:00 and 2:30 am butt according to an updated timeline, he now says 1:45 am according to a phone call made to
Bri Warrelmann

Also on Thursday, police said they think Steve Shiraldi, a Murrells Inlet man who took Elvis out on a date and returned her home before her disappearance, dropped her off before the 1:44 a.m. phone call to Warrelmann.

Previously, Shiraldi told Waccamaw Publishers he thought he dropped Elvis off at around 2 a.m.. He didn't recall Elvis making any telephone calls at 1:44 a.m., or anything that would've indicated she was upset.

Squires, the Horry County investigator, said police now believe Shiraldi may have been mistaken about the time. Shiraldi has been ruled out as a suspect in the investigation, Rhodes and Squires said.
Steve Shiraldi was the last person to see Heather and had plenty of time in which to carry out a crime against Heather. She was said to have been crying while on the phone with Bri Warrelmann. Bri has not revealed the conversation so one could reason that she was in fear when she called Bri, perhaps even being held against her will.. LE seem pretty convinced the Mr, Shiraldi has nothing to do with her disappearance.

The Motive

This is where the case gets interesting or convoluted.

These two look guilty as sin! There is plenty of motive, the husband Sidney had been having an affair with Heather, no one really is sure how much of a relationship they had. According to his wife Tammy, it just consisted of sex in the back of Heather's car on three occasions. But then, that is probably what she wanted to believe and probably what she was told. It took over two months to charge the Moorer's. Initially they were charged and released. Tammy took to Facebook to post how they were innocent and going to sue everyone involved only to be surprised a day later with kidnapping and murder charges. Stupid is as stupid does....yeah they both remind me of Forrest Gump with a bad dye job.

This case is full of obstruction charges with these two being charged with interfering on social media sites, what is interesting is that Terry Elvis, Heather's father knows one of the men involved.
Heather's father Terry said he has known Barrett for the last five years and will continue to be his friend. He didn't have a comment concerning Starnes arrest or charges.
Both Sidney and Tammy have also been hit with obstruction charges as well for manipulating social media.
The kidnapping and murder charges are vague at best. They say they are keeping things close to the vest. Heather is said to have driven her car to Peachtree Boat Landing, how that is known has not been released. I have seen a lot of cases tight lipped before but never a charging document for murder to be so brief and void of probable cause. Yes you can indict a ham sandwich but these charges will never get a conviction unless LE has some pretty heavy stuff that they are not releasing.

Heather had a previous relationship that was said ti have been quite violent but his name is not being added here as he is most likely not involved. I really wish I knew how LE decided Mr. Shiraldi had nothing to do with this as he had the most opportunity. Calls were made to and from Heather's phone and Sidney's  but who placed the first call, length of calls and what was said has not been released. I guess the NSA is not quite as involved as we think they are. Someone could have had Heather's cell phone and placed a call to Sidney phone and just hung up. Sidney seeing a missed call from Heather would be inclined to call her back. Ah the phone calls really do not amount to much without knowing the conversation, where is the good ole NSA when you need them?

There is so much more to this case, social media galore so look for a part 2
